Working towards a B.S. in Human Physiology with a minor in Chemistry

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. I came to the University of Iowa to pursue my undergraduate degree and have loved every minute so far. While working towards my B.S., I am also an undergraduate research assistant here in the Mangalam Lab. I am working under Dr. Shahi and assisting on projects to further broaden the understanding of high fat diet and obesity in relation to Multiple Sclerosis. I have learned so much and am excited for what is to come! Outside of the lab, I enjoy taking dance classes, reading, traveling, and spending time with my family in Chicago.
